Rich Paul was born in 1981 in Cleveland, Ohio. He was born into a dangerous and extreme poverty community, where he lost his dad in 1999. Although everything was against him, Rich was able to push through all the walls holding him back. Rich started as a young entrepreneur collecting and selling rare NBA jerseys, about the time he graduated from high school he was peddling his bike near the airport where he ran into Lebron James, and from there the two spoke and a friendship and partnership that would change the sporting industry forever was born.

Rich started his career with Lebron as his personal assistant making about $50,000 a year. While working with Lebron he was able to gain valuable knowledge in the sporting industry and throughout there friendship he slowly went from his personal assistant to launching Klutch Sports Group, a global sports agency representing athletes throughout the world.

From poverty, to changing the sports industry forever. Rich shows everyone no matter where you come from, or what walls are put in front of you, with hard-work and determination anyone can accomplish anything you put your mind too.

A few things I was able to take away from his journey is the determination to be great. He stood by what he believed in, make it big doing what you love. A lot of people find a job or just settle and they don't have the love for what they do, Rich shows how important it is to find what you love and continue to work at it. He pushed being different, action-oriented and always learning. Knowledge is an extremely powerful tool, and with it you can accomplish anything. Something else I noticed is the belief to work hard, and to always believe in yourself! No matter the barriers, continue to work hard everyday. Your opportunity could be right around the corner.
